Trained Bordoodles
Trained Bordoodles
We understand that there are people who would prefer to adopt a trained puppy or young adult dog, as opposed to an "untrained" puppy. Because of the strong demand for this type of furry family member we enthusiastically provide fully trained puppies and fully trained young adults when available.
Availability
Because we also operate a full-service TRAINING FACILITY, we hand select certain puppies from our litters to be specifically trained and made available when ready. These special dogs live in the homes of our trainers and receive lots of attention, love, and TRAINING. If you would like to adopt one of these great dogs, please fill out an Adoption Application.
What Does a Trained Dog know?
Our trained dogs understand all of the basic obedience commands including Sit, Down, Stay, Come, No and Okay. Our trained Bordoodles are also Leash Trained and House Trained. Our older trained adult dogs may have additional training, as may be noted in their profile below.
Price
Most of our trained Bordoodles are $5,900. However, there are variables that would increase or reduce this price. Dogs that have additional training beyond the basics may be priced a little higher, and those trained dogs that are over a year of age are typically price lower. We also take into consideration market demands and client circumstances. We also provide an additional $500 discount for veterans & first responders. See individual prices below.

Odie is a first generation Bordoodle. He was born to our beautiful Border Collie May and our magnificent Standard Poodle Skipper. Both parents are papered and have been health tested through Paw Print Genetics and OFA.
Odie is friendly and playful with other dogs, and he loves people, especially children. His outstanding characteristics are his confidence and athletic ability. He has great endurance and loves long hikes and adventures. Odie likes to play frizbee, fetch and play tug. He is an “Indoor” dog, but would thrive outside if you keep his hair long and bring him inside in cold weather.
Odie understands all of the basic obedience commands, including "sit", "down", "stay", "come", “heel”, "okay", "no" and “let’s go”. Odie also walks respectfully on a leash and is house trained and understands how to use a dog door. Odie has also been on many trips to public places and rides well in a car. We’ll take a video of him and post it on Thursday the 12th of February 2026.

Our puppy is so well trained. PoJo does all the basics and they even taught him to “shake” as a gift for our daughter's birthday. Thank you Colton and Christina! You guys are all amazing!

Last spring I picked a pup from Tory and Finn's litter and opted for the three-week puppy training because I wanted to make the new puppy experience easier on myself. And boy, did it make it easier! My pup slept through the night in her crate without whining, and had the basic commands of sit, down, stay, and kennel down cold from the start. It was and continues to be impressive! As a bonus, Christina, her trainer, continued to be available for follow-up questions. My pup is almost a year old now, and I recently discovered she remembers a trick Christina taught her nine months ago! So smart!!! Puppy training gave my very smart pup the best possible start and was worthevery penny!!!

You won’t find any nicer people do deal with. And our puppy Utah is 1 year old. I’m 60 years old, and I have had a lot of dogs, but Utah is unquestionably the nicest most well behaved dog, we have ever had. Well worth the money.
Thank you to all of the Mountain Doodle Staff, job well done
